Great roadtrip with my best friend from Las Vegas back to Washington state. We took that famous stretch of road in California (hwy 1?) along the coast. I'm painfully afraid of cliffs, though so it was tough on me. I remember her looking out over the ocean while we were coming around a curve. "Don't you just wish you could be a bird and fly over that water from here!" she said. All I could think of was how I would rather be a lizard and cling to the rocks on the other side!
